【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsformaterialsusedinvulcanizedrubbersealsfora)colddrinking-watersupplies(upto50℃);b)drainage,sewerageandrainwatersystems(continuousflowupto45℃andintermittentflowupto95℃).Thedifferentdesignationsofsealsspecifiedaredefinedaccordingtotheirtype,applicationandrequirements(seeTable3).Generalrequirementsforfinishedjointsealsarealsogiven:anyadditionalrequirementscalledforbytheparticularapplicationarespecifiedintherelevantproductstandards,takingintoaccountthattheperformanceofpipejointsisafunctionofthesealmaterialproperties,sealgeometryandpipejointdesign.ThistnternationalStandardisintendedtobeusedwhereappropriatewithproductstandardswhichspecifyperformancerequirementsforjoints.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletojointsealsforallpipelinematerials,includingiron,steel,clay,fibrecement,concrete,reinforcedconcrete,plasticsandglass-reinforcedplastics.Itisapplicabletoelastomericcomponentsofcompositeornon-compositeseals.Inthecaseofcompositesealsformaterialsofhardnessrangesfrom76IRHDto95IRHD,therequirementsforelongationatbreak,compressionsetandstressrelaxationapplyonlywhenthematerialisparticipatinginthesealingfunctionorinthelong-termstabilityoftheseal.JointsealsmadewithanenclosedvoidaspartoftheirdesignareincludedinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.
