【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesspecificsafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofpotatoharvestingmachinestrailed,mountedorself-propelledwhichcarryoutoneormoreofthefollowingoperations:haulmchopping,lifting,picking-up,cleaning,conveyingandunloadingofpotatoes.Thisstandardisapplicableformachineswhichcanbeusedwithoutmodificationforharvestingofothercrops.Inaddition,itspecifiesthetypeofinformationonsafeworkingpracticestobeprovidedbythemanufacturer.ThelistofsignificanthazardsdealtwithinthisstandardisgiveninAnnexA.AnnexAalsoindicatesthehazardswhichhavenotbeendealtwith.Environmentalaspectshavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.Thisstandardappliesprimarilytomachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofthestandard.

【摘要】:ThispublicationincludesallofthewrittenrepliesissuedbetweentheindicateddatesbytheSecretary,speakingfortheASMEB20StandardsCommittee,SafetyStandardforConveyorsandRelatedEquipment,toinquiriesconcerninginterpretationsoftechnicalaspectsofASMEB20.1,SafetyStandardforConveyorsandRelatedEquipment.Theserepliesaretakenverbatimfromtheoriginallettersexceptforafewtypographicalcorrectionsandsomeminoreditorialcorrectionsmadeforthepurposeofimprovedclarity.Insomefewinstances,areviewoftheinterpretationrevealedaneedforcorrectionsofatechnicalnature;inthesecases,acorrectedinterpretationfollowsimmediatelyaftertheoriginalreply.TheseinterpretationswerepreparedinaccordancewiththeaccreditedASMEprocedures.ASMEproceduresprovideforreconsiderationoftheseinterpretationswhenorifadditionalinformationisavailablethattheinquirerbelievesmightaffecttheinterpretation.Further,personsaggrievedbythisinterpretationmayappealtothecognizantASMECommitteeorSubcommittee.ASMEdoesnot“approve,”“certify,”“rate,”or“endorse”anyitem,construction,proprietarydevice,oractivity.
