【摘要】:ThresholdofCaptureandContainment8212;Thistestmethoddescribesflowvisualizationtechniquesthatareusedtodeterminethethresholdofcaptureandcontainment(Cx0026;C)foridleandspecifiedheavycookingconditions.ThethresholdofCx0026;Ccanbeusedtoestimateminimumflowratesforhood/appliancesystems.ParametricStudies8212;Thistestmethodalsocanbeusedtoconductparametricstudiesofalternativeconfigurationsofhoods,appliances,andreplacementairsystems.Ingeneral,thesestudiesareconductedbyholdingconstantallconfigurationandoperationalvariablesexceptthevariableofinterest.Thistestmethod,therefore,canbeusedtoevaluatethefollowing:5.2.1Theoverallsystemperformancewithvariousappliances,whileholdingthehoodandreplacementairsystemcharacteristicsconstant.5.2.2Entirehoodsorcharacteristicsofasinglehood,suchasendpanels,canbevariedwithappliancesandreplacementairconstant.5.2.3Replacementaircharacteristics,suchasmake-upairlocation,direction,andvolume,canbevariedwithconstantapplianceandhoodvariables.1.1Characterizationofcaptureandcontainmentperformanceofhood,appliance(s),andreplacementairsystemduringcookingandnon-cookingconditions(idle):1.2Parametricevaluationofoperationalordesignvariationsinappliances,hoods,orreplacementairconfigurations.1.3Thetestmethodtodetermineheatgaintospacefromcommercialkitchenventilation/appliancesystemshasbeenre-designatedasTestMethodF2474.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
